Get some guys together with big bait tanks and/or coolers and take some back. Even one fish at a time helps some. Especially if you can throw together like 10 vehicles worth of guys. That is at least 10 fish.

travis is right we do need more and bigger events in cincinnati that way the public can see how big the sport is and what it can do for the city i think some of the clubs should get togeather and have tournaments that way there is a better turn out and that way the city may want to get involed there are alot of tournaments around cincinnati but thay are not veary big but put them all togeather and there are a lot of people.

Commercial fishing in the portion of the Ohio river actually owned by Ohio is illegal, even with a KY. commercial license. Any commercial gear found within this boundry should be reported. This link may help ya'll.

From contacts I've had with our Fish and Wildlife Div. there is a catfish study going on with an eye toward length limit on catfish, probably something on the order of what TN. has( one catfish over 34 inchs per day).

mybe next year the national gathering should be on the ohio. thats a big event. it mite help.just a thought.
