on second thought to be more honest with myself I fish from when I get to my spot or get the boat launched until I'm about ready to pass out from lack of sleep or food, then I will straggle in grab a bite to eat and catch a couple hour nap before heading out fishing again. I'm kinda crazy that way, or if only a day trip I will speed all the way to the fishin hole, set up and fish till about an hour after I should have left, then hurridly pack up and haul butt home to try not to be any later than I already am for when I said I was going to be home, NIGHT OR DAY??????? doesn't matter as long as I am fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

word to the wise, male cops understand speeding if you explain you stayed late at the lake and your late and tell them your wife is a ball buster, female cops do not understand at all and will write you a ticket every time. do not use this excuse if the wife is sitting next to you in the passenger seat, or else tell him you still need to drop your girlfriend off at her house.LOL

Night. Mostly because of it being cooler out during the summers. Also, less of a crowd on the water. Although I am looking forward to early season channels next year so maybe I'll change my opinion after that

    Texas heat.
Mid-day in summer is for taking a dip in the lake. I do it every time I go after setting up my fishing spot. Sweat rolling off my head. A nice cool dip in the lake shakes off the heat. LOL
I start out late afternoon. Finish up late in the night. If I stay I will hit it again early in the morning. Then time to clean some fish, take a dip, fire up the grease, pig out, a power nap and hit it again. LOL
That was when I fished alot. Now when I go, its late afternoon and into the night. I’m home before midnight

I like night fishing, it is more quiet. The lakes I fish, there is a lot of speed boat and jet ski traffic during the day. I also like to fish in the morning before the boat commotion hits.

I like 5 pm. to about 11 am. but only during the work week because of the friggin jet skiers. Weekends when the lakes get crowded I I fish the river or canal here in town while everyone else is out of town.

Night. Less traffic and I have more time to relax and enjoy. Bite is the same where I fish. I really like being outside after dark. I fish from a boat.
