MH, I wouldnt recommend a M action rod for cover fishing unless it was saltwater. I have 2 Penn 320GT2s and they are matched to MH Ugly Stik Tigers (Orange ones)Originally Posted by Jamesriver

My opinion you can't go wrong with ugly stiks. That is all I use for the big fish. Love everyone of them. My big water uglys I would use for any fish anywhere. Well I do have to shakespeare tiger rods that I got at walmart for $25. I use these for dip bait.
Definitely can't go wrong with the uglystiks that's all I've used for years
