Its a 6500 with 6.3:1 retrieve ratio, like the 6500 TC reels. Certainly fine reels.

Default Abu Carpmaster photos and specs--good reel

    Specs:
    4 Stainless Steel bearings.
    Weight: 11.3oz.
    Gear Ratio: 6.3:1.
    Holds 245yds. of 14lb. line.
    Line out alarm.
    New 6-pin centrifugal spool.
    10th Anniversary

That's a nice looking reel. Hats off to the carp fishing crowd, they're some of the most dedicated fishermen out there. I'm amazed at some of their gear, rod holders, tactics, and imagination. Anybody ever seen one of those missile-like chum rigs they throw? If ya know the name of that contraption, please refresh my memory

A sharpie could draw some whiskers on ole' bugle lipps and make it say catmaster or something.:smile2: Look like my 6500c, except all mine are SS, chrome or something shinie. Perhaps polished alum. Never worried about it, they work and thats all i'm lookin for.
