i found all the above trash only thing i found any good was a fishing pole holder i had left behind 4 days before-- people had been using it and just left it there. i have found minnow traps and hoop nets with bait but i always leave them be as i sometimes also like to keep fresh bait at my fishing spots.the list of things i have lost/forgot is alot bigger

I have found all of the normal stuff. Poles, line, lures. Once i found a nice metal stringer with about 15 channels on it, all around 6 lbs. or so. I had a nice fish fry that night. I have also found a few condoms, one was even used. :ooooh:

I did find a truck broken and stuck that has been there for years. I took pictures but can get them out of my phone at this time. It is a ford 4x4. everything is still there. They drove it way to far down the bank and it stayed there.:ooooh::ooooh::confused2::confused2::smile2: :smile2::smile2::smile2::smile2::smile2:

its been several yrs, but hubby & his buddy were hunting & found a dead girl in the creek below a bridge. they thought it was a mannequin & were about to shoot the butt of it, but decided to make sure first (they thought it would be hard to explain the bullet holes if it weren't a mannequin). she was partially clothed, been dead a few days, shot in the head, approx 20-30 yrs old. they never found out who she was or who killed her. its dangerous out there.

I have found knives, lures, great hooks-some even still in packages, numerous pliers ( THANKS AGAIN DOUG, more please!), one of those red wire dog chains, all sorts of stuff.
Once we waited on a bunch of guys to leave the foot of a dam so we could fish there and it turned out to be like 5 mexicans who had wrapped a HUGE fish up in foil over a fire and cooked it. Jalapeno peppers and tortilla wrappers were everywhere, and they left it all for someone else to pick up, even the steaming half-eaten fish. It looked like a huge carp.
I want to mention my dad, who is a champion at 'luring'. That man is a pro at finding all kinds of lost lures. As a kid he'd take me out when the water was down and we'd wade all along the banks and bring home buckets of them. I kid you not, he has 13 big tackleboxes in my shed that are full to the limit here because he has no room for them at his house with the ones he has there... I remember the 'stick'. He took a 15ft pole with screen stapled to it and would twist them off of branches so nothing escaped him, he'd even grab bobbers. I still have a sharp eye and will bring him any crankbaits I find because his eyes just light up. He'll put new hooks on em, but most of them are still in great shape.
