When I was a teen I was digging for worms on the bank of the Caney Fork River in Carthage, Tn. I hit something metalic and dug it up, it was a Superman metal lunch box and inside it was a severed human hand. I called the Sheriff and he came to my location. I aksed the Sheriff if he had a pocket knife so that I could pick up the hand and put in a plastic bag? He stated " yes I have a knife, but I like to peel apples with it every once in a while".

Pretty much found the usual stuff, knives, hooks, sinkers, tons of balled-up line, broken lawn furniture, bait containers, shoes, beverages. But have been fishin and look over and there is laying used nasty, icky, tampons... :ooooh:... not a pretty site
