I like Summit. Don't fish it as much last few years, but its a good lake. Few years ago I was fishin for gills to use for cutbait that evening and ended up catchn my limit of 8"-9" bluegills. Good eats! Didn't do so bad on the cats that nite either

The last few years up there the cats have been great. I've been seeing lots of them over 10 lbs.

3 years ago we had some gills that were 9.8675 inches long. This year I am going to try some different tactics up there to try to get some of the bigger cats in that lake. I'm sure there are some in that lake that could top 20lbs easily. This spring I'm going up there with some pieces of pvc pipe and concrete mix. I plan on making some permanent decent rod holder on the jetties where I fish. I also use some home made rod holders that are 5/16 steel rod with a piece of 1-1/2" tubing welded on. I'm taking a cordless hammer drill up there and drill some holes for those rod holders too. I'm tired of propping up my rods in those boulders.

I hate it when I get out on rocks and can't use my rod holders
