Flamm City update
Tonight was the meeting of the Arnold Parks department. Manny & I attended and were allowed to voice our concern over the laws as they now pertain to the park. I could get into details, but what it all boiled down to was that they passed a motion to have the city attorney draw up a petition to the city council calling for a recommendation to change the current ordinances to reflect the way all other MDC boat ramps are ran. Namely, to close the park every day 1/2 hour after sunset, except for lawful fishing, hunting or the launching and loading of boats.
Several compromises were brought up, but in the end we got everything we sought out to get. At this time, please do not send any more emails. Any further action by us can only change the course and right now we are winning. It might take a month or more to pass through the correct channels, but I have full confidence that we will finally see the end to the problems we have been having over this ramp. Thank you all for all you did in helping this come to a great conclusion.
