    Default Kat Bobbers

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for what you are doing, be safe and get your butt back over here,

I just started useing the Fat Kat Bobbers from Wild Wolf Products, they work great for me, where I fish there are a lot of drift wood logs in the river, it is just about impossible to use a Carolina Rig with any success, always getting hung up , I have been useing the fish finder for depth and moveing the Fat Kat Bobber where it will hold the bait off bottom about a foot or two, like Pat said the Bobbers will help in the hook set also, I like to watch them too, you can tell any movement at all, not like a small Bobber, plus you can use a Glow Stick for night fishing,

I think you will like them Jeff, Good Luck , and be Safe

    Default Kat Bobbers

I bought 8 of your bobbers at 2 diff. sizes late last fall and got 2 containers of your 100 glowsticks also , but haven't had a chance to even use them yet .. Waiting on this blasted weather to straighten up around here. Wife and I and friends are about to go stir crazy. We like to camp and nite fish. Can't wait to try them out. Would a person use circle hooks on them ?
Thanks for the fast order on them again Pete. :good:

We have people using Circle hooks on them, If I'm fishing the fast waters at Pickwick Dam Tn drifting big baits in the boat. I have a 5/0 Circle hook on or a 6/0 Charlie Brown Octopus Circle . This way the fish catches there self in the side of the mouth. but this is Striper fishing.
If I'm using them along Rock walls most times I have a Sickle hook on as it works both ways like a J hook or a Circle hook.
So its up to you. but the Circle hooks work great for most people its more what you have faith in and use the most . Hope your able to get out there and catch a boat load soon.

I have been thinking about buying the fat cat bobber and using them with circle hooks.

Funny thing is I was at walmart last week, and they had floats that were exactly like the fat cat bobbers, they were foam pool noodles, and had the same ends on them also...but were just a little bit longer.

But when I buy some it will be from wild wolf, not walmart.

i had 10, but showed my family and they all wanted 1. so now im down too 3 left. i like them alot, it gives u a chance too drift fish from the bank. i like it best a dams, u can get close to the dams without being scared to get sucked in there. i also use them for my flattys, can,t get any other presentation like flowting live bait down the log jams with 5oz on there and a big bait and it still flowting. great product.
