Well then try cutting then up use the heads an the belly. Might keep some of the B@ss off them it won't keep all as I catch some on cut bait.

That's how I catch my bass. I usually wait until about an hour before sundown and then get the kids to start catching gills. That pulls the big bass in to feed and then let them have it.
If I go to the river than I'm all about the live gills and dead goldfish. Those seem to be my best river baits for all catfish.
On the farm ponds tho I use pretty much chicken livers. If I don't get a bite in 20 minutes I reel in and rebait. Usually works pretty well for me.

cut bluegill works exellant, you can also buy vackume packed shad at the store

If i am fishing small ponds that are only a few acres in size and i know there are cat's in there, i never leave home without my Sonny's dip bait.

bluegills all the way / leaches work well too /little pay pond i took my daughters to 30 years ago sold leaches and caught many off them and they stay on the hook to catch many fish off one leach

Has anyone ever tried hotdogs? I've never tried it myself, but heard that hotdogs soaked in cherry koolaid is supposed to work.....
