Yesterday putting my 12 foot jon in a small lake, i took off my shoes to get in the water to gey the boat off the truck bed. I took a step and a pain shot through my toe. It got snagged on about a 4/0 circle hook. There was two if them on a piece on mono. I guess when i stepped one of them was on my foot and the other snagged somewhere on the bottom running it all the way through the meaty part of my pinkey toe...just my luck it was a nickle hook and the ER had a tough time cutting it. Guess ill always wear shoes from now on! The triage nurse tried to lighten the moment. By looking at my toe and saying "we're gonna need a bigger boat" pic attached...graphic content!
