Catfish on the Coosa

Rate this Entry
Anybody catching any cats on the Coosa now. I have been duck hunting over there and it is really low, you have to have a mud motor to get in the creeks.

Brushy Branch was very low,we had to troll past some areas. The river is still down I would say about 6 ft if not more. The ramps on the river are not usable to launch anything over a Jon Boat. But the fish are biting,We caught 10, only one being a Blue,27 lb 19lb,16lb 8 lb and few 4 lb all Flatheads. The one Blue was a 20 lb.

Thanks, I will probably go and try it next weekend. I always put in at Brushy Branch and during the winter you usually half to put in on the gravel beside the ramp.

We have been useing the gravel the last few times we went," 24 ft pontoon" yesterday it was hard doing that our trailer lights hit bottom.Be careful. The fish were biting good though.
