I know many of you that I talk to regularly in chat know that I finally got me a boat. It's an older model but the boat is in real good shape and the motor hasn't been run in a while. Got a lot of fixin up to do on her to get her rigged out and set up to the way I want to fish her.

But coach guaranteed me that this boat already knows how to catch fish and that it will be leading me to the fish by itself.

    I've gotten the boat off the trailer and have the trailer torn all apart redoing it.

    Between getting sick and work and this bad cold weather have not been able to work on it lately.

    Just have to finish painting the frame of the trailer and then I'll be ready to start putting the trailer back together and finishing it up then I'll be ready to put the boat back on the trailer and start fixing it up the way I want.. Just hope I can start back on her soon so I can get her all done before spring.

    thanks for the pics kevin. that new steering wheel looks good. yea, this weather has put a damper on my boat fixing too. shoot, when it warms up next week i may have to put off working on my boat and just go fishing. red river is getting back right again and so is the msippi.

    Those were the very first photos I took of the boat bily... with the old steering wheel still on it... I got the new one on it but I'm gonna have to take it back off and put a spacer or two behind it as the new steering wheel is much thicker and rubs the console some when turning it.

    It's suppose to rain all day tomorrow... hopefully it won't and I'll fell well enough to work on the boat and trailer a little tomorrow and maybe get some more pics of how far I've gotten so far.

    Billy I found my small files and filed one of the impellers I already have just have not had a chance to tear into the lower unit and see if it will work yet.

    Got the trailer complete except for setting the rollers at the right height which I will do when I put the boat back on the trailer.

    finished wiring it up today and tested it all out by hooking the trailer up to my truck. Everything looked good.

    Added grease to the bearing buddies and did some touch up painting on the hitch coupler where I welded the new coupler on.

    Now for the boat...

    Got a lot to do to the boat still... but don't think if will be as time consuming as the trailer was.

    got the front seat of the boat fixed, and the boat painted and sealed this week. Got a little more sealing to do and then I'll be ready to start mounting the equipment for the boat on it like the trolling motor, depth finder and the navigation lights.
