Agreed! The gorgeous flathead you are sporting in your photo is testament to your skill and knowledge of cat fishing. A friend of mine fishes for giant alligator gar down on the red river, he takes a biologist with him to tag the giants, and they are doing some kind of longevity study on them. He told me once to never BS him. He did not want to hear any stories, he only wanted to see photos, and then we could cut up with a story. He showed me a photo of a 125lb gar he caught. I showed him a photo of a 38lb flathead I caught. I really enjoy seeing the results of years of learning and hard work. I appreciate your post
