While tons of Catfish are lost every day, resent studies conducted by Indiana Fishery Biologist indicated that Big "trophy size catfish are rare." nevertheless, Indiana Division of Fish and Wildlife refuse to take action without cooperation from Illinois and Kentucky and "until more research can be completed" Only catfish are affected- mostly the larger ones, so no emergency actions are being considered....



I happen to have picture that a buddy just emailed to me showing tons of dead, rotting blue catfish, I need to resize them- then I'll post them. when I get a chance
