I know many of you that I talk to regularly in chat know that I finally got me a boat. It's an older model but the boat is in real good shape and the motor hasn't been run in a while. Got a lot of fixin up to do on her to get her rigged out and set up to the way I want to fish her.

But coach guaranteed me that this boat already knows how to catch fish and that it will be leading me to the fish by itself.

Well with many of us not fishing due to the weather or whatever the reasons I was just wondering how many of us have been finessing our skills.

Skills such as knot tying/rigging

Castnet throwing

lead pouring

hook sharpening

looking over maps of the waters we fish and exploring new areas in our minds eye according to what we find on the maps.

.. and another important thing to practice on is our photography skills.

playing around with the camera as much as possible and also our photo editing programs will just make us much better photographers for when the time calls for it we will be ready willing and able to produce a good quality picture of our great sport and hopefully many new PB's.

Just re familiarizing ourselves with the total applications of our cameras and what all they can do and also of our editing software will help each and everyone out when it comes time to take that picture of a lifetime and have the confidence to get it right.
