Hello, I am James and I would like to introduce myself to other USCA members located in Louisiana and the US. My 13 year old son and I really enjoy fishing especially for catfish. For the past year or so we have been fishing the Red River around Alexandria and Boyce. We are still trying to learn the best areas and methods to catch catfish. Any tips from more experience fishermen would be greatly appreciated. Being a IT tech I may be able to return the favor.

Another bad day on Wylie, blanked completely - could not even catch any bait fish. Water REALLY cloudy and red especially just below South Fork River. Cold day when the sun was not out and very windy, Don't think yesterday's rain helped much, my Chief Operating Officer (the wife) reckons the fish know I am coming. Gave up early afternoon - next week I'll catch some - promise! Anybody got any tips for these conditions?
