After asking off and on for many years I finally got my wife to agree to go fishing with me. It was our anniversary weekend (13 years) when we headed out to Atwood lake together. When Terri and I got married she owned a Berkley Cherrywood rod with a Daiwa Goldcast reel and her Umco 103A tacklebox circa early 1980s. This setup worked fairly well for the first few trips but it wasn't long before she wanted a second rod and reel.
