I am fortunate in that I get to fish... a LOT... and I can keep my freezer stocked with 2 to 10 pound blues and channels without having to kill any fish over 10 pounds. I fish with circle hooks to prevent deep-hooking and mortal injury to the fish. I rarely go fishing needing to fish for food.

I cannot fault the man who keeps a large fish because I don't know if his family is hungry and depending on the catch for food. I also don't know if the man is just greedy, or if he has a penchant ...
