I hate to disagree with a Bro but Freeman lake has put out some good cats this year. I know myself that a friend caught a 22 pounder this year already. fish close to main dock area on bottom. Good Luck Bro...

Go down to 2nd street dsrive to the end and the road stops at the river, just walk down the hill and fish. ez walk and lots of drift wood to build a fire. Good Luck Bro..

I grew up in West Point and lived there for 18 years. You can fish over at the boat ramp but hard to do when it is up, u can limb line ( got alot that way) go down under the bridge (31w) when the river go's down and fish by the concreat post. u can also catch som jack there sometimes. I like to fish around the bend in the ohio down about 100 yards from the mouth of the salt.. Good Luck Bro.
