Fishin' Mike

Had a fun day yesterday. Caught a 3 lb channel on the river, and a raccoon in the driveway. Woo-Woo! Live Action!!!

I put out my first set lines with soap on them last night. NO fish...
This is the first time I didn't catch a turtle though. I have thrown everything at these fish.

Worms
Chicken gizzards and hearts
Shad
Soap
everything but the kitchen sink.

They say that there is catfish in this lake, but I am confused at this point.

I just put out my first set lines with Ivory soap on them. I have been using Gizzard shad, but this lake is so overrun with turtles that I have had to go to extreme measures to get a fish. Hopefully it goes good. I'm getting kinda hungry.
