There seems to be a fair amount of interest by bank fishermen in rod holders. Here's my design. It uses heavy gauge aluminum and incorporates rod holders designed for boats. It is designed for use with circle hooks, (don't set the hook when you get a bite, reel first.) It also doubles as a rod carrier to help you get your rods from your vehicle to where your fishing, note the shoulder strap. The only drawback to this design it shakes the other rods in the holder somewhat when you get a hard bite. ...
