The best spots to visit at Badin this time of year would likely be in the area of Tuckertown dam. Other areas I've had luck at would be those around the point and pier at Uwharrie. I've also heard of decent catches at the trestle below Old Whitney. Regarding High Rock , I don't know. Maybe go to River Road and put in at Flat Creek , then go upstream to the area between the dam and bridge.
