Even as a A&M fan the only reason Texas lost that game was #1 Colt Mc Coy and tell you the truth before that half they werent even doing that great!!! Sorry for the truth but maybe next year.
It was tough for the horns.. Bama pulled through in the end though! I realize texas had to play with a rookie QB, and he did a pretty good job too, but bama isnt #1 because they get lucky..heck of a game
Bama isnt looking good so far. I hope Mc Coy isnt hurt too bad that would make it rough for Texas.
me neither gary , dont know much about eather team, i want a prediction on that lake for feb , 7th
dont know enough bout either team to make a guess gary.
Neither one of you seldomly think of this these things in anything but a random of thoughts that are so mixed up in your heads that you seldomly can make a good random prediction so let me clear it up for the both of ya. bama--36 tx---- 28
Shoot that's easy Gary I already know who's gonna win that game.:sinister: The team with the highest score at the end of the game does. Now what did I win...:arrogant::sarcastic:
What no one wants to make a prediction for the National Championship game tonight. I figured the Bama boys would be all over this since the whole country thinks the Longhorns dont have a chance.
Coach even an idiot can have random thoughts, you and I are both proof of that . As bad as I hate the Teasips I have to root for the Big 12. So far Bama is 0 for 8 against UT and after tomorrow it will be 0 for 9. Teasips 23 Low Tide 17.
there u go again cathog , misspelling words ............. u spell seldom - s e l d o m NOT r - a -n -d- o-m :time-out: tide 20 tsips 7:secret:
Just thought I would try this first Kev, it might be a trainwreck, but you never know. I am just trying to load my aresenal up with many ways to catch big blues in any conditions and I figured I wont know unless I try. My drifting technique on Tawakoni works great for me and I am getting really confident in my anchoring techniques also. This might be a fun way to catch deep fish and do it faster than drifting, and much easier than pulling anchors from 50 or more feet deep. Just another random thought :Happy:And staying on top of the spot shouldnt be a problem at all, I have a GPS graph on my boat and can get within 8' of any spot I find. The other thing is if the fish moved I can try to move with them. If they move out from under me I can run in a circular pattern til I find them again. I have noticed that when the get really deep on Tawak they dont seem to move near as far.
Gary you will find it easier to tie off or anchor to stay on top of the fish even if your fishin strait down below the boat. Wind gusts will play havock with ya and you will spend more time fooling with your trolling motor. Plus when ya get a fish on and your busy fighting that fish you will be concentrating on landing that fish and you won't be able to keep yourself on that spot for your other rods to keep the other baits in place.
Figure I am going to leave some of todays random thoughts. I was thinking that when I go to the lake tomorrow i was going to try something new if it is as calm as today was. I am going to set up on some deep structure where I am marking fish and drop my baits straight under the boat at different depths and see if I can entice them to bite. Just wondering if any of yall have done this on a lake before, and if you have how it worked. It seems like a good way to fish without drifting or anchoring, just using my trolling motor occasionaly to stay on top of the fish. Just something I think I am going to try. Some more random thoughts, Dallas traffic is the worst. I left my house this morning at 7am. It took me over 2 hours to get to downtown Dallas and it is only 70 miles away, all interstate. The first 55 miles took about an hour and the last 15 took an hour, what a pain in the arse. I think I am getting this blogging thing down LOL.
Random thinking can be dangerous Gary... be careful, dont hurt yourself.
