That is one freaky looking deer. The good thing is that his genetics are still floating around your area. Makes for some promising future hunting

Wasn't that buck supposedly called in with "the can"? I may be mistaken in this, all i ever called with one is doe and yearlings.

I had the opportunity to see the Beatty Buck at the IOWA DEER CLASSIC a few years back. They showed the World Record bucks in all the weapon catagories. Rifle, bow, muzzleloder. Typical and non-Typical. The Beatty Buck was the most crazy looking of them all. I would hate scoring that crazy rack. That had to take hours or even days with discusion to come up with the final score. Believe it final scored around 305 non-typical.? Not sure. I know they withheld the world record ranking, because the bow he used had a 80% let-off and the rules apply to a bow with a 65% let-off or less at the time the buck was shot. Now the rules changed and every bow used to harvest a world record status buck will be accepted.
Thanks..

That is a brute......looks a lot like the Great " hole in the horn" buck found dead many years ago in Ohio as well. There are some good genes in the pool!!!

That is a crazy looking buck. That would have been nice if it decided to come three fields over to you. But sounds like you have good genetics in your area

What a beast.
Man I can't even imagine having something like that running around my places that I hunt. If I knew, I'd have to hunt all day every day until somebody got him. That's a buck of 100 lifetimes right there. Big non typicals are amazing.
