Its alway so depressing going to these, they never give me a new boat.

I went last year and the year before. Same old stuff. I went to two local boat dealers and priced boats at the shops. I listened to the radio adds prior to the event which always touted big savings on new boats. When I started to make offers on the same boats, I had priced with the same dealers, both were higher at the show then at the shops. When I produced the quotes from their own shops both salesmen got upset and accused me of trying low ball them. I found the whole episode quite amusing and just smiled. I told both that they were guilty of price gouging and misrepresentation. Needless to say, I wouldnt do buisiness with them.....both dealers were very unethical.

Not much Cat stuff there from what I saw.
Though, Ed Phillips from BeeReady/Pro Angler Tackle was there with a booth.
Got to see the BeeReady's in person.. Looks like a killer setup... Though, they a tad higher than I wanted to pay (or could get past the wife more like :rolleyes: )

I did Picked up a couple of their PACTC50 reels... Cant wait to try em out...
Talked to Ed for about half hour - 45 minutes, real nice guy....

Lots of Boats in the boat bldg (show is in two bldgs)... Lost of high $$ boats heh.

I went to the boat show in st louis last month.. same -o-same-o... all kinds of stuff for exectutives and bass types.. not much for the cat man or average fisherman... welll maybe i'll win the lottery and then i can get an executive cat boat:crying:
