Does any one catfish P.P. in winter time? What depts and structures do you find most productive in cold weather? Thanks for any tips you have to offer ladeerhunter

Try fishing where the water turkeys roost. The cats lay up there waiting on them to poop, which is made up of fish an easy meal for them. I usually pull one from every tree. I generally use cut shad or shinners. They usually hit it as soon as it reaches bottom.:wink:

Thanks for water turky tip, tryed this once in creek chanel,21 ft. water, no luck, went 1-22-09,wanted to try this in jungle area.but water temp. was45 degrees in 5 ft water,didn't think cat would be this shallow......ladeerhunter

Try using dough balls. I couldnt catch anything last time I went till I ran across a fella fishing with dough balls. So many people are feeding them bread from there piers he said that when they dont bite shad or cold worms they will hit bread.
