unwelcome visiters at deer feeder I timed them and it took less than 2 minutes for them to eat the corn that was on the ground and leave.

Knock em down, and cut them up would be my suggestion. If you want to send a few out this way I would take care of them for you.

Man you are gonna have to do something about that.Seriously if you don't thin them out on a regular basis they will likely be the only thing you see.I would do away with the corn and save yourself some money since it gets eaten before any deer come around.I'm just one state over if you need help.

good luck with that bro. i have more experience with hawgs than i want. the big problem with them is that once you have them, you cant hardly get rid of them. sure pork is nice. but at what cost? they demolish the habitat. they compete with and eventually run off the deer herd. they breed like rabbits on viagra. they smell bad. have a bad attitude. and just generally piss me off.

i read somewhere that a sow can have her first litter of 8-10 piglets at the ripe old age of 8 months. she can then have another litter of 8-10 pigs every 6 months for most of the rest of her life. if you have that many eating your corn, there is no telling how many you have that you dont see.

on the plus side, if you like to hunt them/eat them, you will never go hungry. also on the days that deer dont move much, you can almost allways slip up on a hawg. so you will have more exciting hunts, more often.

at any rate, yall got your hands full.

New litter about every 4 to 5 months. There gestation period is 3 months 3 weeks 3 days. Good luck with them. Looks like you could have a lot of fun and sausage.

If nothing else find the bore and take him out. That will slow down the repo some what. Best to shotem, cutem up and put in freezer or locker. What you don't want ,give to the needy. You know they would appericate it.I would.

Go to www.easttexashogdoggers.com (http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com) and find someone in your area with hog dogs. Turn them loose in the offseason and they'll eliminate the pigs, for FREE. Nothing will eilminate pigs from your place like dogs. Think about it, they get shot at, they come back.... some get trapped, the rest get a free meal, and come back.... but if a few dogs nip at them and stretch their ears a few times.... they don't wanna come back. The pigs wont' leave your place alone forever, but I don't think anything is more effective than dogs to get rid of pigs, and there's no other way that's more fun either.
