hey gang,how would the catfishing be in early april.We are coming from washinghton state and wondering what we can expect fishing wise thanks

We live in and around Baton Rouge. March and April are typically the best months of the year for fishing on the Mississippi River. This year was very odd in that high water from the midwest basically wrecked a lot of the first half of the year. I'm hopeful that things will be in the normal cycle next year. What part of LA will you be going to?
