Hawaii Sportsman

Hows it! Just wondering if there were any fishermen or hunters from Hawaii on the mainland in the brotherhood? We know there is very little freshwater and no flatheads there.

Hey Joey, my sense is there are not many Hawaii sportsmen on here. There are channel cats there, state record 45# I am with you, if you get a sponser, it will take a couple of weeks:smile2:,we will find a fish! I will be there in Feb.

I think you're right about there not being many from Hawaii on here. I can be packed in about 10 minutes...lol So I'm assuming you're going to test out the waters while you're there.... Better remember to come back with a report.

That is a 10/4 Joey. I have lived there about 18 years so I know where the fish are. I have caught nice sized peacock bass and also channel cats. On my return I may work on catching a sizable channel cat to share with you guys. Check out Lake Wilson, Oahu on the web for some pics if you are interested.
