Called in sick today and hit the river. We caught a couple little ones. One blue that went about 10 pounds and a channel that was around 3 pounds. Fished the flats just like I would in the summer time. The blue came in about 15 foot of water and the channel in about 3 feet.

Oh yeah, cant beat a day of fishing on the river. The only thing was it was pretty windy today should of called in sick yesterday.

Yeah, the wind was killer, I was out from 8 to 5. 4 small channels, no blues. Fished the flats by a feeder creek most of the AM and hit some dykes in the afternoon once the wind calmed down a little.

Fishin buddies went out on Wednesday, while I was at work:mad: , and caught 21 cats 1-6 pounds. We are gonna go out this weekend but this rain may put a dampner on things.
