South Texas... South of what Lubbock??
North Texas... North of what, Huntsville??

I'm from south of Dallas. That would be Hutchins. I thought everyone would know south of Dallas ment Hutchins ! Shoot, have ya ever went south on I-45 and came over the Trinity River and up the hill ? Will your south of Dallas and in Hutchins now.........:thumbsup:

Hutchins is the first town ya get to after leaving Dallas. You would be right in saying Wilmer is south of Dallas. wilmer is the last town south of Dallas that is still in Dallas county.

They shut down Wilmer / Hutchins High School, so I wounder if your friend has a job now.

Lil fact for ya. Hutchins folks and Wilmer folks don't mix very well.:rolleyes:

Yea, He is from Willmer but now works for the Dallas School system,. He works with kids in Special Ed. or G&T... I can't remember!!:confused:

I've lived most of my life in West TX but I'd never heard of a town called West TX. I discovered it after email to Ernie asking him where he lived in West TX. :o

Also when I was a kid we called Wichita Falls, Whiskeytal Falls... I lived near Lubbock. Amarillo and Wichita Falls is where all the local bootleggers bought their booze. Lubbock and all the surrounding counties were dry back then.
