Missing Smithland Fishermen

Has anybody heard any news on the two fishermen that were missing at Smithland? Last I heard they found there boat at the next lock and dam down stream.

listening to the news while BOCin' and heard that they found one of the guys missing. they found his body on the river near Metropolis, they said it was not too far from where the found thier boat.

i have not heard this story.did they just go missing?

It happened bout 2 or 3 weeks ago. it was 2 guys fishin in thier boat up there by the dam in Smithland. They never came home so they started lookin for them and couldn't find any sign of them. Then they found their boat up around Metropolis. Yesterday they found one of the men not too far from where they found the boat. don't remember the names of the men, but feel for thier families.:sad:
