Indiana Catfisherman new to the site

Hey all, my name's Rick and I'm new to the site. Me and a good buddy of mine are fishing fanatics and love to fish for anything and anywhere, but my heart has got to be with catfishing. I'm from Indianapolis and fish mostly local areas. I do a lot of fishing in White River, mostly from 96th street to Broadripple, Fall Creek, Morse and Geist, and many small ponds and lakes in the area. I also do a lot of fishing in the Shelby county area because my family has a house down there. Most of the catfishing i do is shore and wading fishing on White River due to the fact that I don't have a boat. My person bests from the White are a 22lb Flathead and a 17lb Flathead, both caught this past summer, with many other cats in the 5-10lb range, looking to get into some bigger ones this year:) . I've been interested in catfishing Fall Creek, I have done some fishing right below the Geist dam and done alright, and smallmouth fished several stretches of the creek, but never really attempted catfishing, so since I'm new to the board, if anybody has ever done any good catfishing Fall Creek, I'd really appreciate any information. Hi Rick...welcome to the BOC. I live up your way...in Broad Ripple. Ever want to hit it, just send me a PM...I fish almost everyday, rain/shine/cold...whatever. I fish the river alot up by 96th Street and Broad Ripple...never really fished Fall Creek much, but it is less than 2 minutes from my house, so I guess I should try it sometime huh? Haha Anyway..welcome aboard.
