Anybody else use this for trying to find good stand locations. It doesnt work great in all areas but when its clear you can easily see funnels and terrain changes.

I use it a lot, not just hunting, the latest picture on there of my area was a really dry year and the lakes were all at their lowest levels in years, found some great fish'n holes with it too.

Windows live local, runs in your browser, nothing to download & install. Great for lots of things. Some area's google has better detail, some areas are better in live.com.

I've used it for some time now. Not just for hunting, but for fishing also. Some areas are'nt very clear on google. But, if you go to www.mapquest.com (http://www.mapquest.com) enter a location, when the map comes up click on "arial view". It'll give you the same kind of interactive map as google. except it's usually much more clear.

Yeah I used it in scouting the Bitterroot Wilderness area up in Idaho for our Elk hunting trip.. It was very helpful and if you pay fer the upgrade you can get the version that shows the GPS coordinates on the bottom where ever your cursor is. I then plugged in areas to my GPS and then rode the horse right up to where I wanted to go. Not to bad fer scouting in the summer time in texas....

It's a great tool for hunting and fishing....

Great post here man!
