Anybody here know anything about Lake Oconee?? especially anything about flatheads in this lake? is there a river channel that runs through this lake....is there a dam/spillway?? is there any river that runs out of this lake? Is there any opportunity for bankfishing? any help would be greatly appreciated...........Thanks

Lake Oconee does have some bank fishing around the camp site at Lawence Shouls also there is a spillway or dam they call it the tail race at one end I do not remember the river that feeds it but go on line look up Lake Oconee it will tell more they havr held fishing tourniments there as i understand it

Also if you are around in june that will be the location of the best gathering in ga at that time

just be careful if your in a boat on lake oconee. tree stumps are viewable all over it.

and definately dont water ski on this lake. :ooooh:

there are a few nice campgrounds with boat ramps just off hwy 441 coming from green co.
