Martins Creek launch site

Tried the above site this morning as it is close to the power plant discharge site.But on arrival,was informed by security guard that the site will be closed until at April.They are still repairing damage from the floodings of 2005.Drove down a small road nearby and saw 3 homes which sustained heavy damage and they looked abandoned.

"NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF MOTHER NATURE" :0a32: I wish it was open now!!!!!!!

They still have divers vacumming the bottom to get rid of the flyash spill/:crying: :crying:

I remember playing T-ball up there by the power plant when i was a kid. I haven't been up there in years though...

Maybe when they are done cleaning the river,it will be a good place to fish? Only the fish will not be safe to eat!:crying:
