Re Rig Dam

anyone ever fish the river below mark twain lake(i mean the part that starts at the lake and goes to the re rig dam)? re regulation pool i think its called? I went there today got the boat out and got some lines wet but nothing but one nice bite.:crying:
anyone fish it? any tips?

I've heard, when Corps of Engineers is running water that walleye fishing is great in the reregulation pool, but no first hand experience yet;) Good Luck

before my dad and i got boats we fished there quite often. we fished off the rocks just below the damn. when the water is running the fish will stack up below the damn. my dad caught a 32 lb flathead on a jig thier. the same day another guy caught a flat over 40 lbs. my dad also caught a 6 lb walleye below that damn. i havnt fished it for sever years now but im sure it can still be good.
