High Rock Report

Went to High Rock Wed morning since there havent been any good reports from the other lakes on the chain. The lake was about 7' low and bait was scattered. I fished up the lake and caught 14 in about 3 hrs, all released. The biggest was 9.75 lbs. All were channel cats.

Were the shad easy to catch?

Like I said, they were scattered. I caught them in front of the Second Creek Wildlife ramp. I throw an 8' radius net, and was only getting 4-5 per throw. It took about 40 min to get enough to fish.
