i walked around with the cash in my pocket for 2 weeks before i finally did it!! went to deerhunter01,s house and got the number for www.thenerds.net and got it ordered!!! i got it on the boat and got to play with it a little saturday night and i love it!! the side imaging is the most amazing thing i have ever seen! i ran to a few spots that i always wondered what the hell is that that i keep getting snagged on ? trees ! lots of trees!!! its amazing whats on the bottom of that river lol

If you're going to use it at night, you'll probably want to send it back to Humminbird so they can do the backlight dimming modification to it - otherwise it's so bright you can't see past the glare and navigating your boat is a hazard. Got mine back in less than 10 days, door to door, including 4 non-working days over the 4th of July weekend...

If you're going to use it at night, you'll probably want to send it back to Humminbird so they can do the backlight dimming modification to it - otherwise it's so bright you can't see past the glare and navigating your boat is a hazard. Got mine back in less than 10 days, door to door, including 4 non-working days over the 4th of July weekend... mine was made a month ago so it has the adjustable backlite.. your right that it is dangerous if you dont dim it down that sucker is bright!! :wink:

Just bought one and installed it this weekend. WOW. you are amazed what you can see. I used the sonar alot also and I like it alot. I found a big fish arch and we caught a 12 lb channel right where the arch was, the color of the arch was kinda llight blue, that was the only arch that color I saw saturday. i found shad in no time at 5 foot. I have a Lowrance 522 also and I think I like the Humminbird better already.

yep it is a barge!! flathead heaven!!! :wink: in some of the other pics i have you can rally see all the trees piled on the upstream end of it. and some big ass fish!!! the guys on here that know what to look for in the pics will be able to pick out a couple pigs in those pictures!!
