Pawnee and Conestoga Lakes....

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone had any tips on fishing Conestoga or Pawnee (or any other) lakes in Lincoln. Baits, Locations to bank fish ( I don't have a boat) etc...I have been out the past two weekends and only got 2 small Channels on Pawnee. I am more familiar with river fishing and seem to be having some difficulty targeting cats on bigger lakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

its hard to say matt if u dont have a boat pawnee is only pretty good on the damn,conastoga is pretty good all around.hope this helps.:cool2:

Thanks! Acutally had a little luck at Conestoga last Fri. night. Caught 3 small blues and about a 3 pound channel and had something that felt pretty big come unbuttoned on me :angry: oh well...maybe I'll get him this weekend! Was using shrimp, turkey liver, and a few frogs I caught along the bank. All fish were caught on liver but I did have something hit a frog and pull a leg off.
