i have seen alot of pre-made dough/stink baits alot of places i go. but i have tried only one and it doesnt work worth poo. any suggestions on what to use pre-made/pre-balled up dough bait

Well, I dont like to use them so much. I think livers and stuff that comes out of animals works a lot better. Especially for wild catfish. The wild ones I think really do prefer the baits that are more natural. Stinkbaits may be great places, but I like cutbait and chicken livers for channels.

Check out the "library. There are numerous postings there on making your own bait.

There are many home baits you could use. I'd suggest checking out the library. Some might just take your breath away!

A looper rig, some Junnies Wicked Sticky or Premo Super Sticky Blood have landed 100's of channels for me............of course that pile of soured grain below the boat helps too.

Id sau that you should try some of that danny king punch bait
i got some and cant wait to try it this year
all you need is a treble hook so then you are set
:)
