Lake Jackson

Has anyone fished Lake Jackson on the FL/AL border? I am trying to find somewhere that would be easy to take the wife and kids night fishing and catch some channel cats. It looks like a place with little boat traffic and the kids would still be able to see lights from the town there and would not be so scared. Let me know if anyone has heard anything about the catfishing in that lake.

Try Tree rivers state park .Camp right on the water .

Did you have any luck? I've been thinking about fishing there for a while but haven't gotten around to it. Have camped there several times though.

wife is from lockhart. very little fishing done on lake jackson. try going on up the hiway to gantt or point a larger lakes will catch fish.
