Riverfront park area

Hey guy's has anyone done any fishin around the marina entrance by the new tumbleweed on river road if so has anyone caught any biggies out of there all i can catch in up to about 5lbs the 5 was a flatty the smaller were channel.

Just curious what were you using for bait? Ive always heard that the big cats like to come in shallow at night. After reading this site Im convinced I need to find some skipjacks to catch some hogs out of the river. Usually I just use worms or liver and catch fish but never anything over 15lbs.
