fish finder help?

A friend of mine bought this eagle ultra 2 fish finder at a yard sale and gave it to me. It has no power cable or transducer. The power has two male prongs but they are not marked pos or neg. I would like to see if it would power up before I spent any money on cables. Does anyone know how to determine wich is pos or neg so I do not blow it up?

Might go to a location that sells them, look at a display model.

I will check tonight with a test light to see which one is Pos. I still have one on my bow. You probably won't find a display model, mine is 15 years old.

not shure how pricy the model you got but you can get a new eagle cuda ($69) for the price of a transducer ($59)

Sorry, forgot about this post. I checked last night. On mine the pin towards the center of the unit is Neg and the pin towards the outside edge is POS.
