You might need to switch baits like go to a cut bait or dip or dough bait or old faithful for me hotdogs and little smokies. Have you seen cats caught in the areas you fish?

Cj , It's time for you to try other places to fish. go to the river. use a cut bait of some kind.

Sounds like you need to find some deeper water and fish at night when it's cooler. I go out drifting flats at night when it's hot out during the day and do well. But if bank bound, find a map of the area your fishing and find deeper water and channels. Good Luck to you. Also change to cut bait or what is around in the water like shad works too. ;)

I notice even with my most consistance areas I fish each time out is a mystery. Some nights chicken liver or nothing, others anchovies, and other nights it is Sonny's dip bait or you are getting skunked.

In addition little things as far as location makes a huge difference. Sometimes I can fish 1 spot for a hour move 15 feet one way or the other and get into fish.
