For my little brothers science fair project i tested the strength of different fishing lines. I used 20lb line so i could get my folks to buy me some line i could use. I used a digital berkly scale to test a 30Inch leader with Palomar knots tied to swivels. The tightline is the cheap BassPro offshore angler brand I really liked the feel of the trilene XT but it lost alot of strength when wet and it was really stretchy when wet. After this project my decision to use was the Berkly Big Game and its a good thing to cause its the line i have on all my reels. I thought should pass on this info although im not sure how reliable it is. Oh yah i soaked the line in room temperature for 30minutes.
