I noticed it was dropping back down.I just hope we have some good hard rains this spring to flush out some of these coves. We haven't really had many good ones for a couple years. There is really alot of logs and stuff jammed up around the edges that need to be washed out.I hope they have a good cleanup while it's down too.The amount of styrofoam and trash is getting pretty bad also.

Looks awful low up here. I would have went fishing yesterday were it not for the lack of water at the boat ramp. I'm thinking of going tomorrow before the cold front hits.

Im wondering how the low water will affect the spoonies here when season opens. Makes me think they wont be moveing up near as far if we don't get some rain.
I would imagine it's gonna be about like last year, the folks I talked to last year did real well down here between the 57-63MM's.

Well Ken, It looks like the islands here at the 64 are getting bigger each day.655.8 I think is what I seen on the news. The forcast shows it droppin a tenth of a foot per day for the next few days.As cold as it is I'm not thinking bout' fishing much right now.It looks like it's 3 degrees out here right now but I'm not sure if that's right, the little woman said my thermometer might be defective

30 days and spring is here, don't know if it will be warm but it will be spring.
I don't know if I would walk out here to the cove tonight even if I knew I could get a 20 pounder on the first cast. This heat feels pretty good in the house.I don't think I've heard it kick off all night.

Aint it the truth.Don't forget about the Insurance companies, seems like they all three get a good chunk of my change every month. If I had back all the money they've got from me over the years...I'd be living on the lower end of the lake driving one of those BIG boats that I hate to see coming when I'm out there in my boat. :D

Awful cold this weekend!! We were gonna go out and hit the crappie again and sink some more beds but decided against it with 12 degree temps. That wind gets a little brick goin down the lake.
We were hittin those 1-3 pound cats pretty heavy about a three weeks ago. It shouldn't have been happening until about now but the weather is all screwy. As soon as the weather changed they got lockjaw. I am really for the weather to get right......I am flaunching at the bit!!

SeaArk1 you can put a picture where it says Avatar..most folks put a picture of themselves with a fish they have caught..you can do this by going to USER CP on the tool bar. Also located on the tool bar is MEMBER MAP where you can zoom into where you live and click and drag a red member pin to your location. Be sure to zoom in as close as necessary for accurate placement. All those red pins you see on the map are where other members live. I have to say if you went fishin this weekend you are more dedicated than I am..I stayed where it was warm...LOL..Good fishin!:)

I'll be out there ever chance I get. I usually wait for some decent weather though,I have my 7 y.o. Grandson 24/7 I even home school him. His Dad (my middle son) works out on the road so he's not in that often.I've been watching my 10 month old Grandson (by my youngest Son) quite a bit this winter earning brownie points so they will babysit for me come spring.LOL.. We'll have to get together and have a coffee/soda or something and meet face to face pretty soon. You might want to wait till the first of spring though, that's when I do the shave and haircut thing LOL The lil' woman thinks this time of year I resemble a grizzly bear coming out of hibernation.
