Spawning periods in NW Alabama

Has anyone noticed how the cats in NW Bama (Pickwick, Wilson, Wheeler, TN river) seem to spawn a lot later than other places in Bama? I've noticed cats seem to spawn out in mid Bama from usually 2nd-3rd week in May til Mid June and in South Bama a little earlier than that but the cats up in the NW seem to spawn from 1st-2nd week in June until mid July? Anyone seen similiar patterns in Bama?

yeah it's all due to water temp..the water down south warms up a little quicker...

Me and a friend were fishing wheeler in later april and it seemed like the blues were spawing heavy then we were catching the biggest ones in 2 to 8 ft of water if that helps u any
