minnesota river

im gona be comin up to fish the minnesota on the fourth of july and i heard there was boat access at the town of courtland...i was wonderin if thats true and if the river is any good round there...if anyone can give me and tips they would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

There is a boat access there but its basically unusable for most of the year unless the water is high. I suggest putting in somewhere else. Judson or New Ulm are about it for that area.

thanks rushing...in the spots u are talking about is there like a campground too or any electric or anything like that?? and hows the fishing in that area?? thanks

Land of Memories park in Mankato is about the only camp ground on the river in that area I know of.

Oh and fishing has been good. July, who knows. Depends on if the flats are spawning.
